During Enviroweek these normally modest Clark Kent environmentalists become Green Heroes, a source of inspiration for us all and a beacon of hope for our environment.

To become a Green Hero you register to take on a challenge, get sponsored by your friends and fundraise for your favourite environmental organisation. It’s that simple.

Enviroweek began in 2009 with around 200 people taking on an environmental challenge. These Green Heroes were sponsored by around 1000 of their mates raising more than $58,000 for environmental organisations around Australia.

It’s all about taking on a challenge that suits you, changing your behaviour during Enviroweek and getting into good habits for the rest of the year.

Enviroweek is operated by Cool Australia.

All funds raised for Cool Australia Trust will be used to:

• Educate Australian kids about our environment and how they can take action to protect it.
• Environmental restoration of cleared land to reconnect important parks and reserves.
