Our Story So Far…

It is our aim to increase awareness of how littering is damaging our environment while cleaning up our school and out into the local community.

We had a great day today picking up over 25 extra large garbage bags of rubbish from the Water Sanctuary in Sorell. All of our Grade 7s participated and were very proud of their efforts. During the week we will be encouraging everyone to be litter wise at school, with the help of Piggy, Bendigo Bank Sorell. Next week we will be tackling Pembroke Park and the Skate Park, again in Sorell. Also our students (all grades) have had fun exploring the farm and the animals too. We have been planting vegetables in the garden as well as native and fruit trees around the farm. We have spent time working on weed control in the paddocks. Eg; thistles an box-thorn. It's been lots of fun and heaps of hard work. 29th- another fantastic day with Bendigo bank Piggy. We walked the around school picking up rubbish before heading down to the farm. Piggy had a wonderful time poking his nose into all of the classrooms and raising the awareness of Enviro Week. Top effort Piggy :)
