Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School
Stage 2 Sustainability Soldiers
Our Story So Far…
Students will work together, educating & informing other year levels in order to raise awareness regarding recycling and sustainability within our school.
*Last Thursday Year 4 organised outdoor activity rotations for their Kindy Buddies as part of the Wild Child Challenge! *On Wednesday 27 August Year 4 planted a bush tucker garden near the preschool in the back playground! It was loads of fun! *Year 4 TRADED their time with Kindergarten, teaching them how to draw prisms. *We have planted seedlings in wicking boxes and maintained the veggie gardens. *Our first Nude food day was Tuesday 26 August and after it being such a success we are now going to make Tuesdays a regular Nude food day. *Thursday 28 Aug we undertook a recycling bin sort with our Kindy buddies and learnt that our school are not very good recyclers, so we are going to educate & inform the rest of the school on assembly. *We have also grown, harvested, prepared and shared a garden salad for a sit down lunch together.
