WE are serious about recycling at PFCS.... WE have taken recycling to new depths... our STEM project on deep sea ocean explorers has see us create the most fascinating deep sea craft know to people.... We used 100% recycled materials and turned our ideas in reality (well as prototypes anyway).. Our STEM challenge became a STEAM creation... with some explorers using biomimicry and all were equipped with sampling arms and research tools.... Boxes, make do parts, plans, rulers, all types of recycling materials were used by 17 team of students in grade 3/4 to create, explore and discover their way down to the deepest part of the ocean..... We added a kids choice award and the prep - grade 2 selected the best craft, based on recycling ideas and scientific craft design...
