Ness Reserve Preschool
Ness Reserve Pre School
The whole school is getting involved in a range or Enviroweek actions.
Our Rainbow Group are looking at the waste that is created from their unwanted toys. Children are invited to bring in toys that are broken or no longer able to be used that would otherwise be thrown in the bin to add to our upcycled rainbow. Our fantastic Maintenance guru, Anthony has made us a rainbow frame to attach our toys to that is proudly displayed in our playground. When completed our "Rainbow" will be a beautiful artwork that children and families can admire and use to inspire them to think of other ways to use materials that would otherwise end up in the bin!
Spring is just around the corner and all of our groups will be attending to jobs in the garden. Our vegetable garden needs some TLC to be ready to plant out our rabbit Thumper's favourite foods! We grow a range of vegetables for us and Thumper to eat so will be busy planting our seedling to take us through to the end of the year. The children's favourite is the strawberries but celery and silverbeet top Thumper's list!
