Our Story So Far…

Clean up the 'Duncan Street Drain', which runs alongside the College boundary, feeding into Moreton Bay and invite the 900 other College students to participate.

Students of the Environment committee presented a segment on the importance of not allowing litter to reach our waterways on whole school assembly to approximately 1,000 students, staff and guests in the audience. They also conducted a clean up of the Duncan Street drain which eventually feeds into Moreton Bay in their lunch hour. An audit was taken of this activity to gauge the level of rubbish which escapes College rubbish bins and potentially contributes to the death of marine life in Moreton Bay. This drain has been adopted by the Environment Committee as a responsibility to clean each term.
