We're growing winter vegetables and herbs in our own school garden, at Padley Park Community Garden and at Days Walk Farm to supply the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank with fresh food and to sell to our community to raise money for the food bank. So far this year we have raised $805.30 from the sale of produce from the program as well as donating 70 bunches of silver beet, 25 bunches of broccolini and 10 bunches of kale this winter. Hopefully during Enviroweek our red and green cabbages will be ready for harvest along with more silver beet, plenty of coriander and parsley, spring onions, artichokes and salad greens.
