Our Story So Far…

The children in 4L are cleaning up their school, by composting food scraps, recycling paper & investigating ways to increase recycling at Lynbrook Primary School.

The children have been keen to clean up our school yard and are eager to encourage other children to do so. They are investigating ways to increase recycling at the school by interviewing the Vice Principal and writing to Casey Council. The children have also been designing posters to display around the school which encourage other students to take care of our beautiful school grounds. Some of the children have also started a Waste Warriors Club which encourages children from other classes to join in and help keep our school rubbish free. Finally the children are also keen to implement Nude Food Days to ensure that they are generating less waste at school.
