Freemans Reach Public School
We are going to make a bird feeder and nesting box to help our local birds.
3/4T love birds! However, we have had a problem with our native birds...they like to sit one the gutters and railings next to our window and sing and chat and fight...usually when Miss Thomas is reading "The BFG"! So we tried to send them away with a poster saying 'No birds at this window!' That didn't work. So then we decided to persuade the birds to socialise elsewhere by making beautiful bird feeders out of tea cups and saucers. We also made our own bird feeders out of recycled objects. They seem to enjoy their new meeting spot and we enjoy sharing our eating area with them!
One litre of water is needed to make three sheets of paper.
