Wahroonga Waterways Landcare

Positive action for a sustainable future

Wahroonga Waterways Landcare is a strong advocate for children to experience nature firsthand. To this end, we facilitate field trips into conservation bushland, where children can plant trees, see native species in their natural habitats and experience for themselves the wonder of nature.

How we're supporting Enviroweek

We are offering a space for children to take part in the Wild Child aspect of Enviroweek. With 34ha of conservation bushland under our management, complete with threatened ecological communities, vulnerable species and kilometres of trails, schools and children's nature play groups are sure to find the natural resources to engage meaningfully with Enviroweek.

How we're connected to young people

When National Tree Day is over, Wahroonga Waterways Landcare will be advertising Enviroweek on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/WahroongaEECZ and through our email newsletters to over 100 local schools.
